Care UK – Halecroft Grange

The Milestone team delivered a specialist roofing installation at this care home carefully installing the system in tight spaces.

This project featured a range of challenges with different levels and the requirement to access to the roof when required.

Scope of works included:

• Removing the existing debris on the roof before jet-washing the area.
• Applying PVC/ Reactivation primer to prepare the roof for the following overcoat.
• Installing a base Polyurethane coat was installed with a glass fibre matting before a final topcoat of the Centech PU system was installed.
• Ensuring the system has waterproofing qualities making it perfect for the inclement weather.
• Incorporating slip-resistant walkways into the design to allow a safe passage along the roof, allowing the staff to access important areas safely.
