Factory Expansion – Raw Materials Warehouse

Overview
Expansion of the existing factory to include a new Raw Materials Warehouse adjacent to the canning line.

Key Works

• Foundations: Installed 63 pad foundations (2.5m deep), constructed 600mm x 600mm ring beam with cast-in bolts, and pre-fabricated reinforcement.

• Concrete: Poured foundations over 3 days using a concrete pump; installed 63 bolt boxes.

• Drainage: Installed 70m deep effluent drainage (3m deep), broke through mudstone using trench boxes and rock wheel; added 150m storm & foul drainage with 8 manholes.

• Slab & Crane Pads: Built 5 crane pads for steel erection, repurposed pads for slab buildup; poured 500m³ concrete over 2 days with laser screed and polished power float finish.

Outcome
Delivered a robust foundation and drainage system, ensuring structural integrity and efficiency for the new warehouse.
